Volunteer Programme

Traditional and Sport Wushu Federation offers you a great opportunity to take part in our Volunteer Programme. It is an ideal way to get unique international work-experience, to learn Russian culture and language and what is the most important, to make happy a great number of children.

We provide accommodation (shared apartment or home-stay), visa support, including registration, introduction to Russian culture through nice and friendly communication and free lessons of Russian during your stay.

Offered volunteer jobs: a teaching assistant, animator, translator, educational consulter and administrator (combination of two or three roles is also possible). Flexibility of the programme allows you to work as many hours per week as you want and to stay as long as you want (breaks for independent travelling and sight-seeing are also easily arranged).

Education/Qualification required: The Programme is open to anyone who has successfully finished their school education, to graduates and undergraduates.

Personal skills: Applicants should be highly motivated, able to adapt to different cultures and to take initiative working individually or in a team. We also look for people possessing confidence, enthusiasm and a serious attitude to work.

Age: The Programme is open for everyone who feels young and enthusiastic, although applicants should be at least 18 at the start of the programme.

Financial independence: Applicants must be able to support themselves financially throughout their stay in Russia. Applicants for the longer programmes (24 and 36 weeks) may be eligible for a housing grant.
